Raye Bower is one of the most amazing people you could ever wish to meet. An hour with Raye is a life changing experience. Raye is an International Reiki Master and healer, but one of her more unusual talents is her ability to produce psychic drawings.

Psychic drawings are used as a tool to help people move forward and give them an insight into deeper feelings and personal issues which would otherwise remain hidden. They can take many forms, and Raye has no preconceptions when she begins to draw. It is Spirit which is drawing, not Raye - she is the medium through which the drawings are made. Raye begins by asking permission from the guide of the person the drawing is for. Then Raye's' guide will ask their guide permission to be drawn. Permission is indicated with a tick on the paper - refusal has only been given once.

Raye holds the pencil very lightly, and the drawing starts to appear on the paper. There are no set patterns or rules to the drawings and Raye, who is an artist in her own right, finds her hand being manoeuvred across the paper, producing an image which sometimes makes no sense to her but perfect sense to the person the drawing is for. Some of the images and writing produced is far beyond the range of Raye's' personal knowledge, so the client knows that this is coming from a spiritual source. She admits to being not very good at history, yet produced historical drawings, dates, and descriptions of Japanese history for a lady who teaches this subject at University level in Japan! There was no possibility that Raye could have known this as the information she gave was quite obscure and would only have been known to an expert.

An artist in Portugal, who at an opening exhibition of his work was surrounded by attendees and guards, parted everyone and asked Raye to come to him. he told her that he had been waiting for ten years to see her and was very emotional. Raye sat down and did him some drawings, dressed only in shorts and t-shirt, completely unfazed by the surroundings and distinguished company. This is because she is genuine and does not do the drawings for any personal or selfish gain. The drawings are there to help the people who need assistance.

Raye says that it is possible that the drawings trigger a state of awareness in the brain which only comes from the visual and not verbal communication. This is called Radionics - the science of radionics indicates that lines drawn on paper create a psychic effect on the space surrounding the drawing and will influence the human aura and chakras in various ways depending on the pattern created. This validates the age old practice of yantra meditation which makes use of visual images to purify and evolve the consciousness. Her guides are usually from a high plane and not usually relatives like grandparents. They have a greater depth and level of insight and are more in tune with the person as well as the overall picture as they are there to guide and not be emotionally involved.

Raye says she finds each experience very individual and totally incredible for her as well as the person she is drawing for, and is often surprised herself as to what comes through. Once, in Edinburgh, a man came to see her and she could see lots of toy soldiers following him. They were small, wooden soldiers and were wearing a tabard with cross and a belt. Raye was mystified until she told the man about them. The answer - he owned a factory, manufacturing toy soldiers!!

The key aspects of psychic drawing are to help people, to give them insight and knowledge about themselves and a situation which is personal to them, rather than a general view of their problems. By focusing on the visual and creating something which can be taken away and contemplated, the client is able to be introspective and retrospective, to overcome their own problems, realise their desires and move forward with their dreams and aspirations.
